The island of Ios is located in the Southeast Aegean, surrounded by the islands of Naxos, Sikinos, Santorini and Amorgos. The island measures 17 km long by 7.5 km wide, 108 sq. km in area and is relatively sparsely populated. You need to stay more than just a few days to explore it from one end to the other and enjoy the loveliest sites. The island's beauty has a particular attraction for young people and Ios has become well-known as one of the three most popular spots on the international youth scene.
